Everything that there is to be said has been thus presented… Tragedy. Senseless violence. Spiritual sickness. Demonic onslaught. Sorrow. A desperate crying out for hope.
One thing about America- despite the wild claims of independence from God and thin bonds between people and churches… we know EXACTLY what to do when the storm hits hard. Join hands. And literally- pray.
We – people – are under vicious spiritual assault… a nationwide/global awakening is happening. This is a violent battle. The struggle for peace is real. The desperation for love, validity, and self worth is palpable. The only possible way to emerge as victor is the love of Christ- which begins with love.
We must change how we do things, how we see things, how we respond to things… re-invent a culture. Understanding that the most important powers on the earth are atmospheric- we have degenerated from a faith generated atmosphere as a country to a self centered one. Shunning the will/love of God and blinding ourselves to the devil’s schemes.
And we reap that every day in some form or fashion.
But the beauty of light is that no matter how dark it gets… more light is always coming. Always on its way. More time to prepare and brace ourselves for dark times, and make the dark a little less potent – and certainly less fearful – every time. Let us pray, and help how we can… and STAY praying. STAY unified. STAY trying to love one another- beyond religion, ethnicity, and location. Keep on.
What we are doing are not emergency procedures- these should be normal practices. If America would live on the daily the way America lives during things like shootings and Haiti, America would dramatically improve and change the world with its spiritual awakening.
I am saddened by the news of today’s massacre… This is not to make light of it, but to make most of it. We must change. There is always another Haiti, another Katrina, another Trayvon Martin, another Connecticut slaughter on the way. Another event to rattle us and pierce our hearts… we cannot change that directly.
What we CAN change is us. How we unite. How we love.
If America would live on the daily the way America lives during things like shootings and Haiti, America would dramatically improve and change the world with its spiritual awakening.
